The average cost of restoring a hectare of coastal habitat is around $1,600,000. At BESE, our experts and specialized nature restoration products aim to increase the success of restoration projects. Types of ecosystem restoration

BESE specializes in restoring coastal and freshwater ecosystems, and our adaptable product, the BESE-elements, is well-suited for most of these environments. Originally designed for mussel bed restoration, it quickly proved effective for restoring salt marshes. Over time, the BESE-elements have shown success in various vegetation types, including seagrass, mangroves, submerged aquatic vegetation, riverbanks, peatlands, as artificial reefs, and enhancing urban waterways.

Nowadays, most restoration projects use plastics or concrete as a nature restoration agent. Unfortunately, both products remain in the system and “pollute” the environment after restoration.
